Shadan stated, “MBMB has issued a tender for the project, and site visits have been conducted by the selected agency. We anticipate that the work will commence in mid-February, with an expected completion date in July or August.”

Aesthetic features and LED Lighting

The rejuvenated overpass is expected to become a focal point for locals and tourists alike, featuring LED lights that will dynamically change colours. Shadan elaborated, “The bridge will have a more attractive appearance and will be a point of interest for people to stop by and take pictures.”

He highlighted the unique aspect of the LED lights, stating, “With colourful LED decorations along the bridge, it will change colours. During festive seasons like New Year or bridge celebrations, it will serve as a festive backdrop.”
