HOW is the Subang Jaya Municipal Council prioritising its spending to ensure basic facilities like public parks and common drains are maintained? What would be the council’s focus this year?

Datuk Adnan Md Ikshan: The council’s 2010 budget will focus mainly on welfare, health and youth programmes. Our budget has been approved.
More than half of our budget which stands at RM116.5 million (58.5 per cent) will go into fixing streetlights, road patching and to facilitate cleaning works within the municipality while RM9.2 million (4.6 per cent) will be spent on other developments such as public parks and new roads.
