Taylor’s University partners MAB for World Sight Day

Health screenings led by Taylor’s University

A key highlight of the event was a free health screening conducted by 22 medical students from the School of Medicine, Taylor’s University. Held on 5th October 2024, the screening included comprehensive tests such as Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements, blood pressure checks, glucose and cholesterol testing, as well as free HPV vaccinations for young adults aged 9 to 25.

Attendees also benefitted from breast examinations and PAP smears, emphasizing the significance of early detection and regular health checks. Led by doctors and professors, this initiative aimed to promote health awareness within the visually impaired community and further supported the global focus on eye health.
