Horizon Mall JB gives Singapore families a new reason to stop in Iskandar Puteri. The two-month-old mall in Horizon Hills combines indoor karting, children’s playgrounds, cafés, a supermarket and everyday shops within one compact centre.
The mall opened on 3 September 2026. It sits in Horizon Hills, about 10 minutes from Legoland Malaysia and within reach of the Second Link for visitors travelling from Singapore.
Horizon Mall is not a large city-centre shopping complex. Instead, it is a four-storey lifestyle mall designed for nearby residents and weekend visitors who want food, play and practical shopping in one stop.
Things to do at Horizon Mall

The biggest attraction is DMC Karting, a double-storey indoor drift-karting venue. It features 29 corners, a 25-degree slope, two difficulty levels, racing simulators and PS5 gaming zones.
Standard karting sessions start at RM38 for 10 minutes. A longer Master session on the full track costs RM58.
FunMax offers arcade games for visitors who prefer something less physical. Options include claw machines, racing games, basketball, boxing, football and classic arcade machines.
Jungle Gym is the main indoor play area for younger children. The animal- and bee-themed playground includes rope tunnels, slides, ball pits, trampolines and a pedal-car track.
Day passes cost RM35 for children under two and RM66 for children aged two to 16. Families can also use the outdoor playground on the Level 2 linkbridge, which has slides, climbing platforms, bridges and tube slides.
Food, groceries and shopping

Village Grocer is the mall’s anchor supermarket. It sells fresh produce, imported groceries, bakery items and deli food, making it useful for visitors staying nearby or returning to Singapore with supplies.
The supermarket is at unit 1F-09 and operates from 10am to 10pm daily. Shoppers can combine a grocery run with a meal or children’s activity in the same visit.
Food options range from local kopitiam meals to Hong Kong-style café dishes. Sin Man Kee Char Chan Teng serves beef brisket noodles, cheese baked rice and Portuguese egg tarts.
Hai Ke Kopitiam and The Chicken Rice Shop offer more familiar Malaysian choices. For drinks and desserts, visitors can choose ZUS Coffee, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Chagee, Cha Tra Mue, Baskin Robbins or llaollao.
Retail stores cover everyday needs rather than luxury shopping. Mr DIY, Watsons, Caring Pharmacy, Matsukiyo, Xiaomi, Switch and MyNews give visitors practical options for household items, health products and gadgets.
Why it works for a Legoland trip

Horizon Mall’s location is its main advantage for Singapore visitors. It is close to Legoland Malaysia and Puteri Harbour, so families can add a short mall stop before or after a theme-park day.
The mall is also a useful alternative to busier JB shopping areas. Visitors arriving through the Second Link can avoid crossing into central Johor Bahru, where weekend traffic can be heavier.
The indoor attractions make the mall useful during afternoon rain or extreme heat. DMC Karting, FunMax and Jungle Gym provide sheltered activities when outdoor plans need to change.
For a simple family itinerary, visitors can start with lunch, let children play at Jungle Gym or the outdoor playground, then buy groceries before heading back towards the checkpoint. Those with more time can add a karting session or visit Legoland nearby.
Horizon Mall is at No. 1, Jalan Eka 3, Horizon Hills, 79100 Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Visitors should check individual store hours before travelling, as tenant operating times may differ from mall hours.
