During the site visit, Sim claimed that thousand of people cross the the main road at Jalan Dr Tun Awang, unfortunately it is unsafe for pedestrians and therefore he is working closely with engineers from MPPP and JKR to build a safer, OKU-friendly pedestrian crossing for the public.

They intend to upgrade the bus and taxi stands and build shelters for people waiting for public transportation in the long haul.

This move by the Pantai Jerejak Adun is to create a Penang safe for the people.
