Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mohamed Nazri Aziz today assured flood victims that they would receive aid from the government.
The government had provided the allocation for the purpose where each family would receive RM500, he told reporters after presenting aid, totalling RM155,500, to 311 families who were affected by the recent floods.
Also present was Hulu Besut Assemblyman Nawi Mohamad.
He said similar aid would also be given to residents in other districts affected by the recent floods.
