“The students will be taught how to avoid financial risks and fraudulent schemes,” he told reporters after launching the “Train the Trainer” programme organised by the commission.

The programme is to train 100 teachers a year to teach students about financial prudence. Securities Commission chairman Zarinah Anwar said the students would be taught under “Kids and Cash” and “Teens and Cash” extra-curricular programmes at 264 schools.
