The director of a government Nursing College in Sandakan, Sabah was today charged in court by the Malaysian Anti
Corruption Commission (MACC) for allegedly accepting bribes totaling RM50,900.
Fatimah Yahya, 49, was charged at the Sessions Court in Tawau, under Section 15 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act 1997.
The accused who was not represented, was allowed RM5,000 bail in one surety while the prosecution was led by Micheal Joimin from the Malaysia-Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), Sabah branch.
Judge Dean Wayne Daly set Sept 21, for re-mention of the case.
