Prayer for Ambiga and Anwar’s family

Recently, temple priest from Sri Thandayathabani Temple in Sentul offered a special prayer for the safety of Bersih organisers co-chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan and PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim’s family.

Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng who attended the prayers said that the prayers were conducted to ask for divine intervention for the safety and welfare of the two prominent leaders as they have been faced with continuous harassment.

Lim said that “he is sure that these harrasments can be stopped should the police take action by arresting the individuals concerned.”

As he spoke to Citizen Journalist Malaysia (CJMY), he pointed out the recent cases of Ambiga, Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah, Selangor DAP state committee member V Ganabatirau and PKR deputy president Azmin Ali’s cases of harrassment.
