“We hosted the pageant in Malaysia twice, in 2015 and 2016. We then decided to bring the pageant abroad to a different country so last year it was successfully held in Myanmar with participants from 18 countries and this year the number increased to over 30 countries competing in Cambodia. We hope to grow it further with a large increase in participating countries in the 2019 pageant.

“We wanted our international participants to have a really memorable experience of the local culture in the host country and to promote world peace by speaking out against violence in line with the pageant theme of Beauty and the Peace,” she added.

“As we prepare for the grand finals, we would like to say a special thanks to all our sponsors and partners for their huge commitment and active contribution for making this event becomes reality,” she said.
