Several roads closed from today for Army Day celebrations

Several roads in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka here will be closed in stages from tomorrow until Sunday for the 78th Army Day celebrations.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Chief ACP Rusli Mohd Noor said the roads affected were Jalan Travers (beginning from opposite the National Museum towards Dataran Merdeka), Jalan Parlimen (from the direction of Dataran Merdeka to Tasek Perdana), Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Hishamuddin and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman/Jalan Raja Junction.

“All these roads will be closed in stages from 5am to make way for rehearsals, and the actual celebration,” he said.

He said the affected roads would be reopened after the event are over.
