A strong 22,000 crowd!

It was definitely a weekend to be remembered for 22,000 people who attended ntv7’s Yuan Carnival, held in SJK(C) Jinjang Selatan, Kuala Lumpur, last weekend. It was the carnival’s fourth stop this year, which took place on the 30th and 31st October.

“I was here with my friends from 8 a.m. to meet our favourite idol, Kevin Cheng. Though he has his head shaved off, we still think he looks great,” says fifteen-year-old Ng Yen Ling.

“I think this community event is a good approach by ntv7 as a way to give back to their faithful viewers and I’m definitely coming back if the station plans to organise yet another carnival in Jinjang next year,” she adds.

The heavy rain on Saturday afternoon did not dampen the spirits of the crowd who was all eager to watch the superstar perform. Kevin who fall sick before coming to Malaysia, belted out two songs and kept the spirits high throughout his performance on stage.

“I’m often very thrilled when I’m in Malaysia as I know how much my fans in this country love me. I hope to make a comeback to this beautiful country whenever I can,” says Kevin.

An array of activities were carried out for the entire family such as games and food stalls, health checks, lucky draws, fun bids, and various performances offering a variety of entertainment and mouth watering cuisines.
