High and low with the Flo

The strong crowd of 8000 people were brought into a frenzy as they moved high and low with the new ‘it’ man of hip hop, Flo Rida, during the energy-packed concert to honour the founder of world best selling stout -Arthur Guinness.

The party-goers at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach gave a glass-breaking scream to welcome the Grammy nominees, who took over the stage with infectious hits such as “Club can’t handle me” and “Low”.

The Florida-based singer certainly knew how to work the crowd as he threw candies into the crowd when singing “Sugar” and tendered out his chunky gold chain around his neck, which have turned the crowd into a mess.

Flo Rida was joined by international acts like Sean Kingston, Colby O’Donis and Thaitanium, as well as local performers Pop Shuvit, Mizz Nina, Melissa Indot and DJ Fuzz in the Arthur’s Day Concert recently.

Turntable guru DJ Fuzz kicked off the night at 7pm with a set of thumping club hits, despite all publicity materials stated the concert will begin an hour later. He was followed by RnB singer, Melissa Indot, who wowed the crowd with her fantastic vocals.

Independent rap-rock band, Pop Shuvit, was next on stage to get the energy rising before hip-hop and RnB artist, Mizz Nina performed.

The sizzling Mizz Nina worked the crowd and the stage as she sang and danced the crowd to euphoria. She also performed alongside American hip-hop artist, Colby O’Donis to a wild and cheering crowd when the dynamic duo belted out their hit single, “What You Waiting For?”

The energy just kept on going throughout the night, with Thai hip-hop band, Thaitanium, giving an explosive performance, followed by Jamaican American singer, Sean Kingston. The sizzling sensation drove the crowd into a screaming frenzy with his hits “Beautiful Girls” and “Eenie Mmeenie”.

Flo Rida then ended the concert with a spectacular show before all the artists went back on stage to lead the crowd to chant “To Arthur!”

As the finale of the worldwide celebration of Arthur’s Day, this year’s concert certainly left everyone nothing but a memorable night. When the fireworks lit up the sky, crowds have begun waiting for a larger and better music bandwagon next year.
