Around 300 Indians attended a Deepavali lunch event at Klang recently.
The event, which needy adults as well as children, was organized by the Buddhist Tzu Chi foundation, who provided the attendees with food prepared in the Indian style.
The attendees mostly are individuals who are below the poverty line. They were also provided food at the end of the event to be taken home with them.
