The Chinese media has reported that MCA President Chua Soi Lek has complained about the upgrading project at the Penang Botanical Gardens.
Recently two huge arches were built as part of the RM7m project outside the Botanical Gardens. Locals and activists have made a huge outcry over the structures which many described as ‘ugly’.
CM Lim Guan Eng is not amused with the fact that Chua Soi Lek has pointed finger at the state government. He said Chua should do his homework properly before condemning because the project falls under the Ministry of Tourism headed Ng Yen Yen who is also from MCA.
