Khalid: Subang Jaya built without planning

Khalid Ibrahim, Menteri Besar of Selangor met with some 500 residents of Subang Jaya on 28th April 2010 to hear out their pleas to stop further developments in Subang Jaya.

Khalid, who was in charge of the development of Guthries Bukit Jelutong was of the opinion that Subang Jaya was built without proper planning, but that does not mean that the residents cannot take steps to improve the quality of life and protect their property investments.

Adun for SJ Hannah Yeoh together with some councillors and MPSJ officials were also present at the meeting.

The residents were generally happy that the Khalid has come personally to hear them out and has promised to work with them to improve the situation in Subang Jaya
