Muarians today met with heads of Government Departments at the Program Mesra Rakyat (MESRA) organised by Public Complaints Bureau (BPA) which was held at Dewan Jubli Intan, Muar.
The event officiated by deputy director of administration of Public Complaints Bureau Rogaya Bakarand and chaired by Muar district officer Haji Amran. The meeting was attended by about 300 people.
In her welcome address Rogaya said that the program gave an opportunity for the rakyat to openly ask and get an immediate response from the panel.
From January 1 till June 15, 2012, the Bureau received 6173 complaints and 5259 has been resolved she added.
In response to a question by a local resident regarding CTOS, senior executive of Bank Negara Malaysia Nor Azli Mokhtar said that CTOS does not come under the purview of Bank Negara Malaysia.
It is a private company CTOS Data System Sdn Bhd and it obtains its information through public announcements. It is not obtained from banks.
If anyone has any evidence that banks have disclosed information to CTOS you may contact Bank Negara and we will take action against the Bank, he added.
