Indonesian workers in Malaysia remitted US1.7 billion in the third quarter of this year, Indonesia’s central bank said.

Bank Indonesia said the remittance represented more than half, or 57 percent, of a total of US$2.91 billion sent back by Indonesian workers in the Asia-Pacific region.
