Terengganu offers to sell Kelantan water

Terengganu is willing to consider supplying clean water to Kelantan if there is an official request from the state at any time according to its needs.

Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said said the state government maintained the humanitarian principle and gives priority to the people regardless of their political inclination.

“Terengganu, which now has ample water capacity, is prepared to channel its water to the state governed by the opposition if there is a request from Kelantan.

“However, we will study the terms and the price for the water before approving the use in Kelantan,” he said after the handing over of the e-Book to Year 4 pupils in the Kuala Besut state constituency, yesterday.
