Allianz group hospitalisation insurance scheme for Nube members

National Union of Banking Employees (Nube) has entered into an agreement with Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (Alim) to provide Group Hospital and Surgical Insurance Scheme for its members.

The group hospitalisation and surgical insurance policy, will provide Nube members and their immediate family members a coverage worth RM25,000.

Nube President Tan Eng Hong and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer Jens Reisch inked the deal officially, witnessed by the Nube exco members at The Point, Mercu UEM Sentral, yesterday.

This policy is extended to Nube members for a premium of RM 880 for each member and their dependents.

In his speech, Nube General Secretary J Solomon said that healthcare is not a privilege but a necessity, which should be made accessible to all irrespective of their status in the society.

He also expressed his gratitude to Allianz and commended the Allianz staff for their honesty and integrity during the discussion and negotiation period.

Through the discussion between Nube and Allianz, we managed to obtain the health facility with enhanced benefits for RM880, said Solomon.
