The SMC upholds equality and faith in education. His philosophy mobilised a community toward excellence, reflecting his core beliefs.
Also, he led the annual Kalvi Yathirai pilgrimage. Students and parents climbed Batu Caves’ 272 steps, fostering discipline and confidence.
His academic roots ran deep. A Kirby-trained teacher, he wrote history textbooks and taught Russian History at Universiti Malaya, later practising law.
Thambirajah’s SMC work endures

His honours reflect impact. Malaysia awarded him “Tan Sri” and “Dato’” titles, while India’s Pravasi Bharatiya Samman recognised his global influence.
Also, SMC’s growth shows reach. Serving over 10,000 students yearly, it bridges educational gaps for the underprivileged.
Then, his legacy spans professions. Graduates thrive locally and internationally, crediting SMC’s holistic approach with motivational camps and leadership training.
Background reveals dedication. From teaching to founding SMC, Thambirajah championed unity, serving on government and NGO committees.
