Penang apartment to get new coat of paint

An apartment building in Penang is set to get a new coat of paint, said the state’s Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng recently.

An apartment building in Penang is set to get a new coat of paint, said the state’s Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng recently.

Eighty per cent of the new paint’s costs for Pangsapuri Mahsuri in Bayan Baru will be borne by the Penang Development Corporation (PDC), with the remaining twenty percent by the residents’ association.

“When I told about this to PDC, they said the cost is heavy. I told them its better for the cost to be heavy than the people to feel the burden,” said Guan Eng while announcing the matter.

The paint matter has been a long-standing issue for the said apartment.
