Contestants representing 12 countries, including Malaysia, will take the stage for the first Miss Fashion World pageant set to be held at Palace of The Golden Horses Hotel in Seri Kembangan, Selangor on 20 July 2019.
Themed “Charm and Beauty”, the interesting fashion event will be held as a beauty contest that is looking for new faces and talents where the winner will be crowned as Miss Fashion World 2019.
“We are looking forward to welcoming all the contestants to an exciting and memorable Miss Fashion World 2019,” said BSG Event Production Sdn Bhd founder Winni Lai, a beauty queen herself, who is the organising chairman of Fashion World 2019.
Among the countries participating are Greece, Belgium, UK, Belarus, Iran, Italy, Australia, Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, Taiwan and host Malaysia.
“This pageant is unlike any other conventional beauty pageants, there will be emphasis on grace, poise, fashion, confidence, originality and intelligence.
“The objective is to provide a platform with the aim of making young and mature ladies showcase their talent, boosting their confidence and encouraging women awareness,” said Winni.
The inaugural event is a sophisticated model fashion show featuring a host of international brands unveiling their latest collections on the runway such as Gina Frias London, The Mod House, Mont Rena, Evon Rossa and Infinity Jewel.
In addition to promoting fashion brands, the event also provides a great opportunity to promote Malaysia as an outstanding tourist destination around the world and the event on 20 July will be telecast live across the world.
The contestants will compete for the top prize worth RM100,000 which includes RM10,000 cash, Akero cosmetics (worth RM20,000), Akero products hamper and an all expense paid trip to walk down the runway in a major Fashion Week/Events of the Year in an original Gina Frias London (Designer of the Year 2019) masterpiece that will be watched by millions of viewers across the globe.
The activities and programs lined up from 16 – 23 July 2019 include sponsorship and charity visits, training camp where contestants will undergo professional catwalk training and choreography and an inclusive invitation to Yacht After Party. Contestants will also get their hair and makeup done professionally and a gown will be provided from the sponsoring brand.
Miss Fashion World 2019 is presented by Akero. It is organised by Koperasi Usahawan Umatrin Berhad (KUUB) and co-organised by BSG Event Production.
