The Art Of Speed 2019 custom car and motorcycle show held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) from 27 – 28 July 2019 received over 55,000 visitors in its 8th year.

AOS founder Asep Ahmad Iskandar thanked the attendees for their support and for making the AOS 2019 event another successful year.

AOS is Malaysia’s very own homegrown Old-Skool & Kustom Kulture automotive event which has grown and flourished into a major event since its beginning eight years ago from just a small exhibition in a shopping mall’s open air parking lot.

The event featured a wide variety of cool, colourful locally-built and overseas customised cars and bikes, international guests, art gallery, interactive activities and concerts throughout the two days.

This year’s Art of Speed Invitational Car Build Off 2019 powered by Petronas featured seven talented builders competing for a RM10,000 cash prize (jury selection) and RM5,000.00 cash prize (public choice). The overall jury pick winner was awarded to The Classic Garage from Johor Bahru, while the Public Choice was awarded to Carazee Artwork from Klang.

As with previous years, Hot Wheels made a huge presence at Art Of Speed and present at the booth were a life-sized Nissan Skyline R31 and Honda City Turbo II along with a showcase of the prototype of the diecast.

The popular Kustom & Koffee Talk was hosted by Keshy Dhillon from Bikesrepublic.com and featured overseas panellists Oliver Jones from The Cutrate, Shaik Ridhwan from The Mighty Motor USA and Kengo Kimura from HEIWA Motorcycles Japan.

Another milestone achievement for Art Of Speed is the Sound Circus concert, which was moved outdoors for AOS 2019 in order to accommodate an ever-increasing music fan base. The Sound Circus line-up featured popular local favourites such as Hujan, Bittersweet, Masdo, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Blues Gang and others.
