Following the official launch recently, the inaugural home-grown Miss Virtual Malaysia 2019 (MVM 2019) pageant continued the excitement with a roadshow on Aug 3 – 4 at Sunway Pyramid mall in Petaling Jaya.

Clearly, there was no shortage of interest as the new pageant with the tagline ‘It’s your Moment to Shine’ has to date more than 60 contestants from all over the country.

MVM national director Darwish Roslee said that the two-day roadshow was conducted with the aim of creating awareness about the new Miss Virtual Malaysia pageant.

“Miss Virtual Malaysia 2019 augurs a preliminary stage of a new digital medium whereby applicants only need to register online at our portal with a photo and video profile to participate,” he said.

The fun-filled event was hosted by MVM committee member Dan Lo.

At the roadshow, Miss Malaysia World 2015 first runner-up Serene Claire, Miss Malaysia World 2014 champion Dewi Liana Seriestha, Miss Intercontinental Malaysia 2017 and Miss Supranational Malaysia 2018 champion Sanjna Suri and celebrity model and actress Venice Min were there to meet and greet their fans, and to share their experiences.

Darwish said the shortlisted Top 40 finalists audition will be held on this coming Aug 17 at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

It will narrow down the selections further to Top 16 finalists for the Grand Final that will take place at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on Sept 26.
