The Curve and next door eCurve shopping malls in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya came together to mark Malaysia’s 62nd year of independence with a variety of activities for patrons during the Merdeka weekend of August 31 to September 1, 2019.

At the Curve, a series of family friendly activities saw children queued to have their faces painted and participated in batik and flower pinwheel and Merdeka puppet workshop.

The sweet-toothed were in for a treat at a Merdeka-themed cookie decorating station while little ones were also entertained by clowns and with balloon sculptures.

Just a stone’s throw away, at eCurve, Malaysians witnessed the beauty and diversity of Malaysian culture through the Muhibbah Dance. The performance beautifully intertwined the traditional dances of Malaysia’s three main ethnic groups composed to their respective traditional musical instruments.
