The title winner of Mrs Malaysia Asia Pacific Tourism, beauty queen Mahisri, is now shining as an international judge in the beauty pageant circuit.

Mahisri won the Mrs Asia Pacific Tourism beauty pageant in 2019.

She hopes this new responsibility will inspire young women to have more self-confidence and create more beauty queens in Malaysia.

“A true beauty queen does not only wear her crown with her head but with her heart as well,” said the beauty queen.

She says training and motivating ladies, especially married women, is challenging.

“The pageant is about making yourself ready for the next level in terms of communication, confidence, patience and independence.

She had also clinched the ‘Queen of Substance’ and ‘Mrs Classic’ subsidiary crowns during the national-level pageant.

The 28-year-old mother of a baby girl said she felt less prepared as the pageant got closer.

“The most vivid memory of me is feeling nervous during the question and answer session, but I managed to answer the judges’ questions spontaneously,” said Mahisri.
