Extension of Nestle Salary for Life contest and bigger prizes

Nestle Malaysia is extending the Nestle Salary For Life contest deadline to May 31, 2020

Nestle Malaysia is extending the ‘Peraduan Nestle Gaji Seumur Hidup’ (Nestle Salary For Life) contest deadline to May 31, 2020 instead of  April 30, 2020 as previously announced, and with bigger prizes.

“We have extended theNestle Gaji Seumur Hidup’ Contest period for an additional month to last until May 31, 2020 and adding 300 additional cash prizes to bring more opportunities of joy to Malaysians during this unprecedented period,” Nestle Malaysia said.

The additional cash prizes are as follows:

  • ‘Salary for a Year’ of RM3,000 pm for 12 months (5 winners)
  • Weekly prizes of RM500 each (200 winners)
  • ‘Salary for a Month’ bonus prize of RM3,000 each (100 winners)

In total, the 17 prize winners of the ‘Salary for a Year’ (RM36,000) will stand a chance to win two ‘Salary for Life’ Grand Prizes.

To further support the vulnerable communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, each one of the 17 finalists for the Grand Prizes will be able to nominate a charity of choice to receive a ‘Salary for a Year’ of RM36,000 each, as a cash contribution from Nestle.

For the charities nominated by the two Grand Prize ‘Salary for Life’ winners, the cash award will be doubled to RM72,000. In total, RM684,000 will be awarded to charitable organisations during the grand finale prize presentation.

Nestle Malaysia also announced the first six prize winners of the ‘Salary for a Year’, who are also finalists for the ‘Salary for Life’ Grand Prizes.

Among the finalists are Yong Chong Lei from Perak, Azahari Bin Salleh from Terengganu, Amirrul Hafiz Bin Razak from Pahang, Nor Safiah Binti Tajuddin from Selangor and Khalaaivaaney A/P Eramakrishnan from Negeri Sembilan.

Nestle ‘Salary for a Year’ prize winner Khalaaivaaney says she will use the prize money for her child’s education.

Khalaaivaaney A/P Eramakrishnan, aged 32, from Seremban, Negeri Sembilan was elated when she was selected as one of the winners of the Salary for a Year (RM36,000) prize.

No words can express how happy and blessed I feel to be chosen as one of the finalists for the Nestle Salary for Life contest. If I win the Grand Prize of a Salary for Life, I will use the money for my child’s education,” she said.

Nestle ‘Salary for a Year’ prize winner Azahari says he will use the prize money to start a new business to generate additional income and improve her family’s life.

Azahari Bin Salleh, 42, from Dungun, Terengganu was happy to be one of the winners who won the Salary for a Year (RM36,000) and planned to put the money to good use.

“In addition to supporting my business that has been affected by the pandemic, I would like to start a new business with my family in the village. This will help me generate additional income and improve my family’s life. I also intend to donate my first winning salary to those who need it most, particularly those who are greatly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak,” he said.

Nestle ‘Salary for a Year’ prize winner Yong Chong Lei says the contest is helping ease financial burden faced by Malaysians who are affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.

Surprised by her luck, Yong Chong Lei, aged 52, from Ayer Tawar, Perak was speechless when she received a call from Nestle informing her that she has won a prize for Salary for a Year (RM36,000).

“I did not expect to be one of the lucky winners. In a way, this contest is helping to ease the financial burden faced by Malaysians at this time. This prize money will definitely go a long way to support my family and I’m very thankful,” she said.

With the contest extended to 31 May 2020, all contestants can easily purchase Nestle products in retail stores and e-commerce websites such as Lazada and Shopee. Entries can be submitted via Whatsapp or post.

To take part, consumers only need to purchase a minimum of RM15 worth of participating Nestle products in a single receipt and answer a simple question.
