Nak Makan brings Ramadan cheer with free meals to those in need

Nak Makan, a new online food service platform launched at the beginning of the Ramadan month by MY E.G. Services Berhad (MyEG), has delivered 5,611 of the 10,000 free meals it has committed to sponsor this Ramadan under the Nak Makan #KitaShare corporate social responsibility programme.

During the campaign period until the end of Ramadan on 23 May 2020, members of the public were invited to nominate an individual or charity organisation within the Klang Valley to receive the sponsored meal from a selection of vendors available on Nak Makan. The nominations were done on social media via Nak Makan’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages.

Celebrities including Neelofa, Awal Ashaari, Wany Hasrita, Deborah Henry, Datin Elaine Daly and finalists of the Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 Neha Verma, Yong Meei Yeng and Francisca Luhong took the time to nominate their preferred charity homes on social media.
