MEOA’s President Mr. Jeffrey Ong in a statement said: “We at MEOA are incredibly grateful for the commitment and the heroic display of kindness, dedication, and professionalism of our healthcare professionals. Despite facing a real danger of contracting the COVID-19 and facing serious work exhaustion, they continue to be truly committed to saving lives.”

“All of us at MEOA would also like to take this opportunity to wish Selamat Hari Raya Adilfitri to all Muslims and especially to our frontline heroes. Now it is our turn to give something back to those on the healthcare frontline by strictly adhering to the government’s standard operating procedures during the Conditional Movement Control Order period especially during the upcoming Hari Raya celebration,” said Ong.

It is good that members are of the public are involved and are supporting HTAA and other medical personnel. In actual fact, the public are the real ‘frontliners’ as they have to face the real danger of COVID- 19, while the medical personnel are actually at the back treating the patients.”
