MY E.G. Services Berhad’s (MyEG) owned e-commerce platform BELI e-Mart, rebranded from NAK BELI, will offer same-day delivery for customers residing within Petaling Jaya and surrounding neighbourhoods with its two newly-opened BELI Mart grocery stores in Puchong and SS15 Subang Jaya.

MyEG group managing director TS Wong said the two stores are part of a pilot programme for same-day delivery service with similar stores being planned in high-density areas in the near future.

“Apart from the e-commerce platform and Facebook Live selling, we are expanding with multiple physical stores and looking to open up to 50 stores within the next two years in high-density suburban neighbourhoods throughout the country.

“For BELI, we are adopting the online-to-offline business model to give consumers the choice of how they want to shop and provide a seamless shopping experience. The economies of scale gained from bulk purchases will also allow us to pass on savings to consumers,” he added.

With the new same-day delivery feature, customers can have fresh produce and groceries delivered quickly on the same day, and avoid the unnecessary hassle of dealing with traffic, parking and crowds.

Customers will now have the option to shop online at www.beli.com.my and enjoy the convenience of same day delivery daily between 10am to 5pm at no extra cost if they spend a minimum of RM50 and above, as part of the opening.
