AniManGaki returns with Jom Cosplay after a two-year hiatus

A community-based anime, comics and games event called Jom Cosplay is set to excite cosplayers, artists, gamers this month.

The two-day free-entry event organized by AniManGaki will be held at Jumpa @ Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur on Feb 26 and 27, 2022.

Jumpa is the revitalized annex block of Sungei Wang Plaza, which caters to the younger generation. The in-person event is returning after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among the highlights of the event are Stage Performances and Special Guests, Jom Cosplay and Dance Competitions, Video Games and Exhibitors Corner, Vtuber Showcase and Carnival Games.

Fans will be able to meet and greet their favourite cosplayers such as Ryukku-K, HTeam, Manami 愛美 Cosplay, Emiize 小美, XuanZii 璇子, Pudds and Ristelle Rinat at the Cosplay Alley.

The organizers will be enforcing strict standard operating procedure (SOP) measures to provide a safe environment in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Attendees will be required to wear mask indoors and maintain social distancing of at least 1 meter apart at all times. They will also need to provide a valid digital certificate of vaccination. Hand sanitizers will be available at the information counter and entrance.

The event will be operating on a reduced capacity limit as per SOP which means that only a limited number of people may enter the event space at a given time. Attendees are advised to remain patient as the queue into the event may be long.
