Vivacity Megamall announced they had obtained the state government’s approval to construct Vivacity 2 Tower in Kuching.
The tower will be an extension of the Vivacity project and built next to Vivacity 1.
Upon completion, the tower will be the tallest building in Kuching.
The soon-to-be-built tower will have luxury condominiums, penthouses, co-working spaces, Grade A offices, rooftop garden, cafes and restaurants.
Meanwhile, to complete Vivacity 1, a 240-room hotel will be built.
The Vivacity project will become an ecosystem where people in Kuching can live, play, socialise, exercise and entertain in a single location.
Earlier today, Vivacity posted the announcement on their Facebook.
The post outlines the development plan and an artist’s impression of the soon-to-be iconic tower.
Vivacity projects are part of the Vivacity Megamall.
Vivacity Megamall is located 10 minutes from the heart of Kuching city.
The mall is the largest premium shopping destination in Sarawak, with five floors of mixed retail and entertainment options from tenants like Parkson, TGV Cinemas, Harvey Norman, and Everrise.
More over, it also features two food courts that boast the best of Kuching’s culinary delights.
Vivacity Megamall opened its doors in 2015. The mall has a gross floor area of 1.2 million square feet.
