Rapid KL offers two My50 passes for the price of one

My50 pass holders can get unlimited rides on the LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid KL’s bus and MRT feeder bus services within Klang Valley for 30 days.

Rapid KL announced a new campaign which offers two My50 passes for the price of one.

The campaign is open to all customers of Rapid KL from 1 – 9 September without a prior subscription to My50 passes.

Pass holders can get unlimited rides on the LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid KL’s bus and MRT feeder bus services within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Territories for thirty (30) consecutive days.

Here are the campaign terms.

  1. You must be a Malaysian citizen with a valid MyKad or MyTentera.
  2. You must be a new My50 pass subscriber. Existing My50 pass subscribers are not allowed to participate in this campaign.
  3. You must download the PULSE App on Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  4. Create an account, click on the My50 Buddy banner, and fill in your personal and friend’s personal information in the form during the Registration Period: 1 – 7 September 2022.
  5. Two hundred (200) successful applications per month during the relevant Registration Period will receive notification via email on 8 September.
  6. Once receiving the confirmation email, you must redeem the My50 Buddy 2 Untuk 1 Passes on Redemption Date at the given location.
  7. Each location will only cater to a hundred (100) successful applications per month.
  8. You must be present with your friend named in the redemption email and present a printed copy of the letter voucher attached to the confirmation email.
  9. You also need to bring your MyKad or MyTentera for verification.
  10. Pay the price of one (1) My50 pass to redeem the My50 Buddy 2 Untuk 1 Passes on Redemption Day.
  11. The My50 Buddy 2 Untuk 1 passes are non-transferable. 

Rapid KL users can only redeem once throughout the campaign period until the end of the year.

According to Lowyat.net, Rapid KL has also announced that those with the OKU card from the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) can ride any public transport services for free from 31 August to 30 September

Commuters can still sign up for the company’s free Hospital Protection Plan, which provides financial protection for three months in case of hospitalisation.
