Malaysia’s favourite brands

The Putra Brand Awards was launched in 2010 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) in collaboration with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB). The award is an initiative to recognise local and international brands, with the winners determined by consumer votes.

During the eight-week voting period from end-September to mid-November, the Putra Brand Awards received over 25,000 responses from Malaysians.

Other top five brands recognised in the ‘Cameras, IT, and Office & Business Equipment’ category include Samsung, which received the Platinum award, and Panasonic which received the Gold Award. Huawei was also awarded Silver along with Canon. The Bronze award was shared by Dell and Faber-Castell.
