Malaysia’s most comprehensive career discovery event, Talentbank, is returning this March to impact Malaysia’s continuing skilled labour and unemployment concerns substantially.
With increasing digitalisation, innovation and globalisation, Malaysia and its businesses look to combat a shortage of skilled labour poised to hamper economic progress.
Simultaneously, young Malaysian graduates are facing a potentially daunting time ahead, with the unemployment rate for youth hovering at 11.8%—still significantly higher than pre-pandemic levels and the rising inflation hitting home.
With that in mind, the Talentbank Career Fair 2023 is set to provide a platform for fresh graduates, job seekers, and hiring employers to address both pressing issues by hosting over 100 top companies with over 10,000 available job positions.
Commenting on the upcoming Fair, Ben Ho, CEO at Talentbank, said: “Our vision and mission at Talentbank is to help build career-ready candidates and help them achieve promising careers by connecting them with industry leaders who welcome world-class talent.
“With employees and employers looking to bridge existing market gaps, there is no better time for employers and job seekers to join us at Talentbank Career Fair 2023. Here they will be able to come together through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and unique networking
opportunities to secure a more stable future for Malaysia’s talent.”
Set to be held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre on 4 – 5 March 2023, the 7th instalment of the Talentbank Career Fair aims to empower fresh graduates and job seekers to engage in enlightening conversations about career development, rewarding roles, financial stability, and
