The Malaysia Global United Pageant is an esteemed international beauty pageant that seeks to discover women who embody courage, ambition, and compassion.

Traccie Chan, the founder of Dare 2 Dream Management, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the United States Global United Pageant in 2016. Now, as the director of the Malaysia Global United Pageant, she aims to find compassionate beauty queens who make a positive impact on their communities.

The beauty pageant, scheduled for July 1st, will identify exceptional candidates to represent Malaysia at the grand finale in Minnesota, USA. These compassionate beauty queens will continue the legacy of spreading kindness and advocating for charitable causes.

Additionally, the event promotes childhood cancer awareness through the “Light It Up Gold” campaign, an initiative that has already raised over RM300,000 and benefited more than 30 children with cancer.

In conjunction with the beauty pageant, the Malaysia Global United Pageant and Charity Dinner will organize various activities to support children with cancer. These initiatives include heartwarming family photoshoots, granting the wishes of cancer-stricken children, organizing outings for families, and providing thoughtful red packet gifts.

Petronilla Joseph, Executive Manager of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia, expressed gratitude for the “Light It Up Gold” campaign’s contributions to children with cancer.

The National Cancer Society, established in 1966, currently operates four Hope Houses in Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh, providing accommodation for parents travelling long distances for their children’s cancer treatments.

This year, with the assistance of the “Light It Up Gold” campaign, the society aims to establish its first Hope House in Penang. This crucial facility will offer free accommodation and amenities to low-income families with cancer-stricken children who reside outside of Penang Island, alleviating the burden they face during challenging times.
