This upcoming attraction will showcase meticulously crafted, built-to-scale LEGO models that beautifully represent the diverse landscapes, architectural marvels, and rich cultural heritage spanning across Malaysia, from east to west. Scheduled to open in August 2023, MINILAND Amazing Malaysia guarantees an enthralling experience for all visitors.
The initial 3D renderings of MINILAND Amazing Malaysia offer a glimpse into the unique heritage sites that guests can expect to encounter. From immersing themselves in the cultural ambiance of Kota Bahru, Kelantan, to marveling at the breathtaking landscapes of Mulu Caves, Sarawak, and experiencing the vibrant energy of Georgetown, Penang, this attraction promises an extraordinary exploration of Malaysia’s remarkable locations.
Interactive games and cultural moments
MINILAND Amazing Malaysia aims to provide an interactive and engaging adventure. With a dedicated 381m² area, guests can look forward to discovering 2-player games, action-packed animations, and captivating narratives. This miniature world will transport visitors into unique Malaysian stories and cultural moments without having to leave the resort.
The construction of MINILAND Amazing Malaysia is well underway, with completion and installation expected within two months. This extraordinary project will utilize a staggering 138 million LEGO Bricks, showcasing 126 built-to-scale LEGO Models divided into three sections: East Malaysia, West Malaysia, and the South China Sea. The entire endeavor will require an estimated 14,000 hours of construction time, emphasizing the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Visitors to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort can already enjoy the new 5-storey tall shaded structure covering the entire area. Constructed over nine months and featuring over 30 million LEGO bricks, this impressive addition showcases famous attractions from 17 Asian countries. Guests can interact with these LEGO masterpieces and experience animated effects, immersing themselves in the historical nostalgia of these landmarks while enjoying a cooler and more comfortable environment.
Supported by 405,718 kg of steel, the 18-meter tall shade structure spans an impressive area of 8,663 m², equivalent to 106 badminton courts. This significant enhancement, represents one of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort’s largest and newest additions, allowing guests of all ages to explore different cultures and history in an interactive and enjoyable setting.
“With the new shades covering the MINILAND area, guests can soak in the atmosphere and truly experience our life-size LEGO structures of Asia’s iconic landmarks in comfort.
