Innovative gamification upskilling program at VISTA
Amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, VISTA Eye Specialist introduced a unique Upskilling program that incorporates Gamification principles.
This program focuses on three key priorities: Growth, 10x Fun, Learning and Engagement, and WOW experience. Bernard Chan, Training and Sustainability Manager at VISTA explained that the Gamification program successfully combines competitive and enjoyable elements through challenges and missions.
The Gamification program at VISTA has allowed employees to develop new ideas, acquire new skills, unleash their creativity, and cultivate leadership qualities. Alongside this program, VISTA has implemented meticulously planned projects that provide experiential learning and serve as a training ground for emerging leaders.
These initiatives have contributed to the development of numerous individuals who have spearheaded substantial growth and made a notable impact on both the staff and other stakeholders, including patients.
VISTA Eye Specialist’s commitment to talent management and its innovative Gamification Upskilling Program has yielded impressive results. Over the past two years, the company has experienced a significant increase in its growth rate, expanded its workforce by 32%, and established three new branches, all during the pandemic.
