Tragic accident on North-South Highway as a Perodua Kancil loses control after tire burst, resulting in a devastating crash.

In a heart-wrenching incident on Saturday night, two young lives were lost after a Perodua Kancil was involved in a fatal accident at Kilometer (KM) 276.9 of the North-South Highway (PLUS), heading south, near Nilai. The driver of the Kancil, identified as a 30-year-old man, died at the scene, while his two-year-old son passed away while receiving treatment at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar (HTJ) in Seremban.

The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm when the Kancil was traveling from Kajang to Melaka. According to preliminary investigations conducted by the Nilai District Police, it is suspected that a burst tire caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, leading it to crash into the road divider barricade in the right lane.

Tragically, another Perodua Myvi car was unable to avoid the collision and subsequently crashed into the Kancil. Moreover, a third vehicle, also a Perodua Myvi, was involved in the accident as well, as it was in the second lane at the time of impact.
