Amari Johor Bahru, a distinguished name in the hospitality industry, takes a delightful step into the world of gastronomic artistry with its inaugural Mooncake Collection.

With a captivating packaging design that pays homage to the moon’s profound significance in Chinese culture, this collection is more than just a culinary offering—it’s a fusion of heritage, art, and flavour.

A tribute to lunar legacy from Amari Johor Bahru

The heart of this Mooncake Collection lies in its packaging—a creative synthesis of Chinese lunar literature and calligraphy that traces back to over 30 renowned poets in history.

The cover box of the mooncake set showcases an original calligraphy compilation, inspired by the prestigious 二南堂法帖 (èr nán táng fǎ tiè) vector gallery, which stands as a testament to the artistry of Chinese calligraphy characters.

Each meticulously crafted Mooncake Collection box is priced at RM268nett and includes four mooncakes, a versatile premium case, and complimentary Amari gift vouchers worth RM100, redeemable at the hotel’s renowned F&B outlets and indulgent spa experiences.

A symphony of taste and tradition

Unveiling the delicacies within, the collection features two classic mooncake flavors—Pure Red Bean and Lotus Paste Single Yolk. Both mooncakes carry a symbolic touch with Amari’s signature parasol design, an emblem drawn from the hotel’s logo. The blending of cultural motifs and culinary finesse underscores the significance of this collection.

Pauline Chua, the General Manager of Amari Johor Bahru, eloquently expressed the collection’s essence. “Our Mooncake Collection encompasses more than just delectable treats. It beautifully weaves together the threads of our shared Chinese heritage, from art and history to taste.
