Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor and the Malaysian Medical Association Johor Branch jointly host a cancer symposium to enhance knowledge and collaboration.

Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor (GHMJ) and the Malaysian Medical Association Johor Branch (MMA) have come together to organize their second cancer symposium.

The event, held at Amari Johor Bahru on 19 August, featured 11 distinguished speakers from both private and public healthcare sectors.

The symposium aimed to bridge gaps in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment while emphasizing collaborative efforts.

The cancer symposium, jointly hosted by GHMJ and MMA, gathered experts from renowned institutions including GHMJ, Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Hospital Sultan Ismail, and Hospital Segamat.

Diverse topics were covered, ranging from breast, endocrine, thyroid, and hepatobiliary cancers to upper gastrointestinal and lung cancers. This comprehensive approach underscores the collective mission to decrease cancer incidences and enhance overall societal health.
