PJ gets more CCTVs to reduce crime

The city will have 96 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at its crime hotspots by the end of the year.

PETALING JAYA: The city will have 96 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at its crime hotspots by the end of the year.

Petaling Jaya City Council currently operates 22 cameras, but the federal and state governments have decided to chip in with 24 and 50 CCTVs, respectively.
