Each district in Pahang boasts a distinctive signature dish, from Temerloh’s famed ikan patin to Raub’s Musang King durian.

As of September, Pahang welcomed over nine million domestic and international tourists, positioning the state on track to achieve its annual target of 13 million visitors.

Leong expressed optimism about this accomplishment and credited the success to varied tourism initiatives, including the first-ever Pahang Coffee Festival 2023.

The festival, held over three days, gathered over 30 coffee vendors from Pahang and beyond at the revamped ‘Old Garage’ on Jalan Haji Junid. Formerly a rice warehouse, the vintage-themed venue has become a hub for motor clubs, vintage vehicle activities, skateboarding, and, notably, the Coffee Festival.
