Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) has clinched the esteemed title of World’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre 2023 at the recent World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony in Dubai.

The award ceremony saw MITEC surpass 18 prominent contenders in the global business events industry, including previous winners such as Las Vegas Convention Centre and ExCeL London.

This recognition positions MITEC as the first Malaysian purpose-built venue to secure a WTA World Award since its establishment in 1993.

The centre hosted over 160 events, attracting more than 3 million participants. MITEC’s impressive facilities have not only positioned it as a global hub but have also contributed significantly to Malaysia’s economic landscape.
