In a heartwarming gesture, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Penang is extending its anniversary celebration to the first 50 couples who tied the knot at the esteemed venue from 1973 to 1985.
Originally planned for couples married between 1973 and 1980, the grand dinner, set for January 5 next year at the Pelangi Ballroom, has been expanded due to an overwhelming response.

The hotel’s top management, responding to the tremendous interest, is including couples married up to 1985 in this momentous occasion.
The grand dinner, part of the hotel’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, promises to be a truly memorable event for the couples. The evening will include a 3-day, 2-night package featuring breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hours daily for the honoured couples.
Qualified couples are invited to share proof of their wedding, including their wedding invitation card and a photo of their wedding held at Rasa Sayang from 1973 to 1985.
The Pelangi Ballroom, known for its elegance, will host this exclusive event, providing a nostalgic journey for couples to revisit the place where their journey began.
