Sarawak strengthens partnership with PCMA

The Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) is reaffirming its collaboration with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) to enhance education and stimulate business opportunities in Sarawak.

Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman recently led a delegation to the “PCMA Convening Leaders 2024” event in San Diego, California, USA, solidifying the commitment to elevate the impact of business events in the region.

At the prestigious PCMA event, MTCP and PCMA representatives revisited the plans and projects outlined in their partnership agreement established in 2020. The primary objective is to raise awareness of the long-term effects of business events and contribute to the growth of Sarawak’s event industry.

Abdul Karim, also the Minister of Youth, Sports & Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (MYSED), engaged with PCMA President and CEO Sherrif Karamat and other key members of the association’s leadership team.
