“Hot Wheels Let’s Race” revs up on Netflix with new series

Gear up for turbocharged excitement as Hot Wheels brings its all-new animated series, “Hot Wheels Let’s Race,” to Netflix globally on March 4th, 2024.

Inspired by the iconic toy brand, the series promises an exhilarating blend of high-octane races, zany characters, and imaginative vehicles, captivating children and igniting their inner racers.

Gear up for adventure in Hot Wheels Let’s Race

The series follows the adventures of Coop, Spark, Mac, Brights, Axle, and Sidecar, a group of aspiring young racers attending a high-energy camp.

They face mind-blowing challenges, participate in outrageous stunt contests, and compete in thrilling races, all within the vibrant world of Hot Wheels.

Hot Wheels toys bring the series’ excitement home

Hot Wheels partnered with Patrick Stump, renowned musician and lead vocalist of Fall Out Boy, to create the show’s soundtrack and score.

This collaboration adds an energising rhythm and sets the perfect pace for the series’ action-packed adventures.

Further extending the excitement beyond the screen, Mattel has launched a line of toys and consumer products inspired by the show.

Fans can bring the thrill of the series home with playsets like the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage, City Ice-Cream Shop, and Action Hyper Loop Extreme, all available at leading retailers across Malaysia.

To celebrate the series launch, a thrilling Hot Wheels Ultimate Race Championship is taking place across Malaysia from February 15th to March 10th.

The championship culminates at IOI City Mall with an open competition on March 10th, preceded by qualifying rounds and a special Hot Wheels Let’s Race concourse event from March 5th to March 9th.

The concourse is transformed into an immersive life-sized replica of Hot Wheels City, featuring an enormous Ultimate Garage as the centrepiece, alongside various playsets from the series. Young racers can participate in four themed zones:

• Hot Wheels Pitstop Zone: Dress up in a racing suit and capture a memorable photo opportunity.
• Hot Wheels Garage Zone: Test your skills at changing a tire during a simulated pit stop.
• Hot Wheels Test Drive: Take the wheel virtually in the Hot Wheels Unleashed 2.0 challenge.
• Hot Wheels Race Zone: Accept the challenge and compete in the Raceway, Cobra, and Flame Challenges in pursuit of the Hot Wheels Grand Prix title.

Completing activities in each zone rewards participants with a special Hot Wheels Flame Badge.

The concourse event also offers exciting limited-edition gifts with purchase, including Hot Wheels Short Card Blisters, exclusive carry cases, and collectible die-cast cars.
