“Our gaming operations continue to operate as usual,” the statement reassured.

Reports suggesting the two casino closures were permanent stemmed from a decline in their patronage compared to the newer Sky Casino.

Opened in 2017, Sky Casino caters to a modern aesthetic and boasts a wider selection of games, attracting a newer generation of players.

However, RWG clarified that the temporary closures of Genting Casino 1 and 2 are not related to their popularity.

These older sections are undergoing renovations to compete with the modern standards of Sky Casino.

Despite the temporary closures, RWG maintains its position as Malaysia’s premier integrated resort destination.
