World Hoops, in collaboration with the Penang Basketball Association, is excited to announce the return of the FIBA-endorsed Penang FIBA 3X3 Challenger.

This international basketball competition will be held on June 1st and 2nd at the Main Atrium of Queensbay Mall, marking its return to Malaysia after a seven-year hiatus.

The event is supported by the Penang State EXCO for Youth, Sports and Health, the Penang State Sports Council, and local representatives.

The Penang FIBA 3X3 Challenger serves as a centrepiece for a week-long celebration of basketball.

In conjunction with the main event, World Hoops anticipates over 430 participants across various initiatives:

  • Basketball Clinic (May 28th-31st): Offering an opportunity for 200 participants to hone their skills.
  • Grassroots & Corporate Tournament (May 28th-31st): Providing a competitive platform for 80 teams.
  • BFL 1 on 1 (May 28th-31st): Featuring individual matchups for 150 participants.

World Hoops prioritises the event’s long-term impact, striving to generate benefits across various aspects:
